To get to Milford Sound you can take a bus trip that passes through the town of Te Anau situated next to Lake Te Anau. You can also take a Wine Trail Tour that passes through the quaint old gold mining town of Arrowtown. The Wine Trail tour goes to a few places including Gibbston Valley, where they have a large cave to store their wine. Take a trip in the Gondola to get up to Bob's Peak and have a go at bungy jumping, riding the luge go-kart track or even paraglide over Queenstown. If thats not enough, then take a exhilarating jetboat ride where the drivers like to do 360 degree spins with the boat and cut close to the edge of the river for some tense moments! With well over 100 restaurants in Queenstown there are plenty to choose from, but to have an authentic New Zealand night out, go to the Maori concert and feast. This is only a small number of the things to see and do around Queenstown, so you'll have to discover the rest yourself!
