Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary <br />Woodbury Rd, Yeppoon, QLD, Australia <p>This place is full of exceptionally friendly animals that you can feed by hand with the food you can get from the kiosk. Walking around the ground, you are often greeted by a kangaroo or wallaby who come to you! There is even time to hug a koala and if you're brave enough, to hold a snake under supervision. Some other animals to see are the dingoes, emus, native birds, wombats, crocodiles, turtles, rabbits, ducks and many more.</p> <br />To make a day of it, why not have a picnic BBQ lunch using the facilities provided. When it gets hot, there is a pool to relax and cool off in, so don't forget your swimmers! The Kiosk provides food, drinks and souvenirs and a place to sit down to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere.
